Traveling with a silicone belly - pregboy28 - 04-03-2021

Curious, has anyone ever traveled with their silicone belly in tow? Specifically, seeing if anyone has brought their belly with them on a flight in their carry-on.

I am considering some travel, and have thought about bringing the belly along.

I've done it!

I’ve done it (traveling via bus and train). Biggest thing I can suggest is to make sure that when you pack, the bag doesn’t go over weight. I had over packed (over the weight limit) one time and had to throw mine on in the bus terminal and ride with it on for 10+ hours. Not my most enjoyable travel experience.

Thanks. I'll definitely keep the weight thing in mind.

Has anyone gone through a security checkpoint with it packed in your bag i.e. TSA? My one concern if I were to bring it along is that it would get confiscated (even though I totally know there isn't any reason that would happen).

You never know what the TSA will randomly decide is suspect. You should also be prepared for the possibility that they'll unpack your luggage to inspect it and that you might unwittingly end up having your gear shown off to everyone at the terminal. They aren't always discreet.

Which I'm okay with. I'm planning to travel solo so only have to endure a few stares from onlookers.

I think my biggest fear is that it'll get confiscated (even though there really isnt any reason I could find for them to do this)

If anyone has any more experience, please feel free to reach out.

Have you thought about reaching out to TSA and just asking if it is something you can travel with?

I have never flown with it in my bags before but I have driven with it on before
